Prabowo an experienced leader amid global tensions: Deputy Minister

  President Prabowo Subianto is a figure of seasoned leadership born from a time of turmoil, possessing extensive experience and high diplomatic skills amid global tensions, Deputy Minister of Housing and Settlements, Fahri Hamzah, stated.

“Our president is indeed experienced. He (President Prabowo) comes from an era full of upheaval,” Hamzah remarked during the National Gathering of the Association of Housing and Settlement Developers of Indonesia (Apersi) 

The deputy minister stated that Prabowo possesses extensive experience in politics and the military, and comes from a family with a strong background in economics and banking, enabling him to understand the nation's challenges from multiple perspectives.

He highlighted that Prabowo's age, nearing 74, is a testament to the depth and experience he brings to his leadership.

Hamzah also noted that during meetings with world leaders, such as Chinese President Xi Jinping in November 2024, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January 2025, and President of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Prabowo conducted himself as an admirable and respectable figure.

"He invited me to meet with President Xi Jinping. He, who was recently inaugurated, was very respected. He spoke and met with world leaders," he remarked.

Hamzah stated that President Prabowo has already demonstrated his global capacity by participating in meetings at APEC and G20 and working visits to the Middle East in just five months, symbolizing strong leadership amid global turmoil.

Prabowo's ability to master various foreign languages, such as German, French, and English, was also part of the diplomatic tools, he added.

According to Hamzah, Indonesia has a strong leader during a time of global crisis and invited the public to support the president's vision and steps.
